View SOVI 07 →Open drawers or closed compartments — what works for a child's room?
Models with open drawers like MARCO 04 are suitable for clothes or toys that need to be within quick reach — practical when children reach for their things themselves. In contrast, closed cupboard compartments like those in SOVI 07 hide more cluttered items behind a calm front. For shared rooms with more clothing, a wider sideboard like LIBU 07 with several compartments and drawers in combination is worthwhile.
Frequently asked questions
Which width is suitable for a smaller child's room?
Compact models from 80 cm like MARCO 04 take up little floor space and still offer three drawers for everyday items.
Are rounded fronts safer for children?
Rounded edges like on MARCO 04 reduce the risk of injury when bumping into them and also appear visually softer than sharp-edged fronts.
Can a chest of drawers be combined with other furniture later?
With furniture systems like LIBU or SOVI, yes — both collections also include wardrobes, shelving and desks in the same design.
You can find matching wardrobes for the children's room among our wardrobes, and matching desks among our desks.
